If that is not enough to make you eat more foods rich in antioxidants, you should consider the fact that they slow down the aging process. It’s true; antioxidants provide anti-aging properties for all the cells in your body. Remember, oxidation slowly causes the body to lose its youthfulness, but you can slow this process down by just eating food that is good for you! Many people report better over skin appearance when they are consuming more fresh fruits, vegetables, and nuts. Lastly, with age comes many degenerative diseases, antioxidants protect against these since they slow down the entire aging process.
